Welcome to Laughter Therapy Enterprises

Please explore our site for its impressive amount of information about laughter. Enda Junkins is a national expert on laughter who shares her knowledge in speeches, publications, DVDs and humor gleaned from everyday life. We think you will enjoy your journey into our laughter world and will finish with a lighter heart and the tools to help it last.

We need to laugh more and seek stress reducing humor in our everyday lives. Laughter is the human gift for coping and for survival. Laughter ringing, laughter pealing, laughter roaring, laughter bubbling. Chuckling. Giggling. Snickering. Snorting. These are the sounds of soul saving laughter which springs from our emotional core and helps us feel better, see things more clearly, and creatively weigh and use our options. Laughter helps us roll with the punches that inevitably come our way. The power of laughter is unleashed every time we laugh. In today's stressful world, we need to laugh much more.

Fun with Laughter

One week day afternoon, I decided to go to the movies. By the time I got there, the previews had started and it was dark inside. I found an aisle seat and sat down. I was aware there weren't many people in the audience, but I was really embarrassed when the lights came up at the end and I discovered I had sat down by the only other person in the theater. I still wonder if he thinks...

Funny Bumperstickers

  • "Women don't live longer. It just seems longer."

  • "Did you wake up grumpy today or did you let her sleep?"

  • "Horn broken. Watch for finger."

  • "Every day above ground is a good day."

Common questions about laughter

What if I don't feel like laughing?

You may need to cry which is equally healing. Tears are the healing not the pain. You may need to have a "tantrum" which is also healing. Watch the little children. They use their natural healing processes with masterful ease. They care for their pain with laughter, crying, and rage without wondering if it's okay or which process is best. They follow their emotions.
